Inspired by the rigorous elegance of the Warring States and Han Dynasty, this set features the classic Straight Hem (Zhiju) silhouette. Unlike modern garments, these robes utilize overlapping panels to create a structured, dignified profile essential for historical reenactments, themed photography, or cultural festivals.

This four-piece ensemble is designed for traditional layering to achieve the correct historical volume. To wear the set correctly:

• Start with the inner top as a base layer.
• Layer the inner robe over the top, aligning the collars.
• Add the wide-sleeved outer robe to define the silhouette.
• Secure all layers with the included matching fabric belt to adjust the fit.

The set is constructed from durable polyester chosen for its ability to hold crisp pleats and resist wrinkling during movement. The fabric has a subtle matte finish that photographs well without the glare often found in cheaper synthetics. To maintain the robe’s structure:

• Hand wash only in cold water.
• Use a mild detergent and avoid bleach.
• Air dry in the shade to prevent color fading.
• If needed, use a low-heat steamer to remove fold lines; do not use high-heat irons.

The primary difference between sizes in this collection is the robe length, which determines your visual impact. Size S (132cm) provides a practical floor-length finish for most users, suitable for walking at events. Size L (200cm) is a dedicated “trailing train” version, leaving significant fabric behind the wearer for dramatic, high-impact historical photography and stage performances.

While these robes offer a flexible fit due to the wrap-around design, we recommend a maximum bust of 120cm (47.2 inches) and a waist under 110cm (43.3 inches) to ensure the fabric drapes correctly without pulling. All dimensions are manually measured; please allow for a 1-3cm variance.
